r00t is now a neon green instead of the grey. Because we removed Thread Ratings and forumdisplay was very plain I've decided to do colored username by group for lastpost and also original poster.
I hope everyone enjoys the alteration.

Personally i feel that the Aesthetics of the forum is going down hill with these changes.
A big factor into the growth of the forum is the Aesthetics and ergonomics. The clean layout it used to have with the Starts along with monotone colors was great and gave the forum a proffesional feel.
I understand the colors is something that some people like but it also devalues items like the sales tags.
Human psychology makes it so people are more attracted to hot colors, people with colors within that catagory within the marketplace for example will now have more clikcs than those without.
I feel as if keeping it monotone sets a better ajudgement to quality rather than people clicking based on psychology, the last thing you want is for it to end up like this

Users now with Rednames will be seeing more traction compared to vendors with darker colors.
Overall i understand the idea however ergonomically i dont think it was the best move

I like the colored names.
What would make it perfect in my opinion would be if they all had the same size and font-weight.
But it’s really a great addition man!

I really like this change as a little bit of color is always good. On desktop it looks great, BUT on mobile, when on a subforum, they distract me and I can't concentrate to the thread title. It's probably just me and the fact that I'm not used to it.

It's different, it's maybe on first glance a bit busy looking. You definitely don't have to immediately love it but my guess is that a few days and you'll be used to it.

I tend to agree because I personally do like a monotone look but at some point it's just boring. And if you don't like this change you are really not going to like what's coming. No sparkles though, I promise I'll never do that.
And I just disabled the online list for the site. So that's not a visual problem anymore.

They all do have the same font-size. Only differences might be shadows or bold effects.
