Got my own file pumper :D * - Chemiculs - Aug 28, 2012 Very nice tool, although their are some simple things in the code that could create issues at run time. Always make sure the user has chosen a file when using save / open file dialogs. The way to do that in C# would be Code SaveFileDialog sfd = new SaveFileDialog();Also, when using Streams, it is good practice to use the 'Using' statement, as it clears all resources used by the stream automatically. Code using(var fs = File.OpenWrite(filepath)){Also, you may want to use a background worker to write large amounts of data to a file, or your Application may become unresponsive. That code can easily be converted to VB. And i understand that this may have just been a quick tutorial, this was for the Copy / Pasters in here. * - pouvoire - Feb 9, 2013 hello well jet followed the tutorial but when I jet pump well mesagge but the file remains the same size and no error message in vb.net * - 4RG0S - Feb 9, 2013 Great Tutorial, thank you for sharing this :) * - wοrlockt - Feb 10, 2013 Great tutorial! Worked good for me. But I have a problem, when I open the pumped file, it says "rtl120.bpl" needed (I pumped the TuneUp-Utilities2013 shortcut to 10 MB) |
