He is known for starting the Apple corporation with Steve Jobs, not only that but he loved "jokes".

On his spare time, he would play around with electronics such as cellphones. He was able to figure out how AT&T's wavelength Hertz using a whistle from a box of cereal to make free International or national phone calls for free.

Steve Wozniak didnt come up with the whisle hack, it was John Draper, a.k.a. Captain Crunch that did that in 1971.

Anyway, good tutorial.
I'm not able to send sms due to not being in the US,
anyone else know other sites that works in europe?

I never said that he invented the method.

I'm planning on going back and re-editing the tutorial to add more since I know Europe uses 10 digit phone numbers rather than 9.

Thanks for posting. I am glad that you liked the history.

I love history myself, so I just had to include it.

Hey i tried your method with Msn but the problem is:

1. You can not login to your msn til you confirm fake email
2. The person has to be in your contact list and his/her phone number attached to it in order to send a SMS

Maybe its different for other messengers, i havent tried it

On Yahoo messenger, all you do is add the person just like as if you were adding any other addy name.

They don't have to confirm anything. You just add them and it will go through perfectly fine.

Just an FYI. Steve Wozniak is not the hacker known for phreaking phones using a cereal whistle. That was actually John Draper, AKA Captain Crunch. Be sure to give credit where its due...

Sorry and thanks for this information. It's the second time that I hear this same comment, I'll edit it in.
