Just put the money back in the bank account?

* - Captain Crunch - Jun 21, 2011

You did over 100k on someones bank account? What country are you from and how old are you? At this point the most important thing is to remember...

I'm not fucked yet. The transfer was made internationally, which buys me some time to disappear.

I can assure you 100%, you'll never have to worry about that.

About what?

[too short]

How can you assure that? He ad the rat connection to his home connection, which leaves traces - if the vic finds the rat, check's the dns it's a piece of cake to track him down. If he null-routes the DNS I'm sure the provider has records, if he kills the OS all he can do is pray that the ISP did not log any connections.

I'd say the chances of getting tracked down for this is pretty big.

Yeah that sounds like a good plan, live the rest of your life on the run for being stupid.
Sounds to me you're somewhat 15-16 years old, I'm sure your mum is proud of you now.

@push eax

lol. It was a joke stupid. I'm not running.
I'm 16? I wish...
I still do not believe I have a high chance of getting caught if I completely wipe the victim's computer.

This is why you shouldn't steal credit cards.

* - Percy_Argyros - Jun 21, 2011

It was a bank account though...

What if I null-route the DNS and something like Truecrypter to encode any evidence I left?

* - Xp3 - Jun 21, 2011

Botkill the computer, uninstall.
Problem solved.

* - g0han - Jun 21, 2011

As stated above, botkill your bots.
Then use http://www.dban.org/ to wipe your harddrive
Then reinstall an OS

Thats if your really serious about it.

* - Percy_Argyros - Jun 21, 2011

Killing the OS does not erase my tracks, though.

Thats why I said dban it.
dban should remove tracks on your computer

I'll just destroy the my computer; it's cheap and I bought it just to hack with.

As far as erasing my tracks on the infected host, I can't think of a better way than some extremely powerful encryption.

He said he took 100k+ from a bank account...
People will wish to attempt to trace him.

Noo dont destroy your computer!
dban it and install a linux distro or something, it will be a waste to completely destroy it.
Or if you dont want it, disamble it so you have parts or put it in a bag and hide/burry it somewhere for a while and get it when the heat goes down.
