Stop with the LQ posts on my thread. You never "FORCED" me to do anything. Just calm down, you seem to be all hotheaded.

Oh the irony. 😑

OP: Thanks for the decryption method, time to convert some Java now. :)

Can you convert a cipher in java to VB?

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it. If you send.me a lastlogin through pm I will decrypt it. (No, I wont use it...)

Damn, this is really a great share. You were even nice enough to take snippets of the codes and provide images xD.
Real useful, thanks.

Thanks! Pictures means high quality, and HQ is great for tutorials.

This is not hard at all but, I am sure that some people may like it and learn from it.

Why do you use \\ for the directory? Isnt one \ enough? and the things like opacity and showintaskbar you can set them in designtime. So just change it in the form properties. Its a fun tutorial OP :)

Opacity = 0 and ShowInTaskbar = False to make the form hide? Are you serious?... Use the Hide() and Show() functions.

And why don't you just Import the System.Net class at the top? Is it necessary to have to write out the full thing everything for each System.Net method and function? Same with System.IO.

Also, in VB.net use "&" instead of "+" for string concatenation...

use "&" not "+", "+" implies that your adding numbers.

correct ... "\\" is generallly for networked drives. it should be the standard "\" for local files and folders.

this is not a good tut.
you might think it is, and it may seem like it, but if your using a form for something that it never going to be shown then your wasting a whole shitload of resources.

size = new size(132, 38) is the smallest that you can get....??
where did you get your info from? because that is completely wrong.

its great and all that you used pictures, but in a few months when those pics get removed this thread will be worth nothing. but really, pics for such a simple section of code? thats just a waste of bandwidth

whatever, at least i was honest with you.

(but for real... STOP using forms for stuff that will never be seen!)

lol Some of what I just said and a bit extra. I was wondering the same too, because a windows form can go a lot smaller than 132, 38...
