good choice, most people under 18 dont usually make good mods anyway, i used to run my clans website and figured that out the hard way

Im a good few years younger than alot of people here, Except Cb of course but

I personally believe your only as old as you act, You can act like an 18 year old and be 13, it just depends on the person and maturity level.
Or be 18 and act like a 13 year old, it goes both ways,
i am most likely younger than you, i just choose to act as old as i can. lol that sounds really weird....

I would be better off with no mods than ones who are malicious.
Oh goody, I still qualify. :)

And I quite agree...better to have no mods than bad mods. -.-

well i think really the hole point about the age limit is to make sure the law still applies to them.

i hate to say this, but it upsets me that i will no longer qualify for mod status, but it is best for the forum so i will get over it.

Oh I agree but unfortunately I can't enforce a contract with a minor. This is more of a security measure than my preference. I would prefer 16 as a cut off age and even have considered younger ages. Things evolve though and HF will make it's adjustments.

Well omni i know I have no posts.
But a word of advice some kids who are underage are not as stupid as the rest so to say.
Some kids now a days do have intelligence but I see where your coming from.
Maybe there could be a "test" long before a monitoring of the subjects behavior and what he contributes.

- Razer Rage - Aug 11, 2008

Yeah...oh well, I think you would be a great mod. :(

- Omniscient - Aug 11, 2008

You'll get your post count back up optical. It's not like we think you are a new member. I enjoyed reading your previous posts and look forward to your new ones.

I agree and haven't said otherwise.

Lol thank you
This is my 4th acount with HF :P
But im still willing to try and get it up and help.

Its sad to see some people are to weak minded and can be manipulated so easily

- SoMuchMudkip - Aug 11, 2008

i know what u mean Optical, but he was only 15, he could have made better choices but he has not had the experiences that some other people have had to become less easily manipulated.

- 9 Toes - Aug 11, 2008

Yeah I'm only 14 must times I have had a mod spot on any site, forum hell a runescape private server I had to work way longer to prove myself because of my age but with that you usealy gain more respect.
I agree that he could of made better choices. Its sad what are teenage community has come down to.

- SoMuchMudkip - Aug 11, 2008

i agree, i hate to sound narsissistic but i had a experience that forced me to become responsible when i was younger. This is going to sound horrible but every teenager needs to experience some sort of tradgety so they will learn a better way to act.

I have seen the way some people treat their parents and relatives and friends, and they need their asses kicked, and some sense in their heads.

Man, would not there be exceptions, about mods have to live in USA?

You can make exceptions for trustworthy members.

- Jimmyg22 - Aug 11, 2008

its easier to legally bind them, but i agree mods in different time zones would help a lot

- SoMuchMudkip - Aug 11, 2008

lol i had at one point only wanted to be a mod because i stayed on when almost no mods were. which is about 7 pm to 2/3/4 am my time.

- tusku - Aug 11, 2008

Well, we are waiting for your decision Omni.
