The credits sort of made up for it and I know I shouldn't have been expecting Kanade to say that she loved him back but I felt a little sad/mad for Otonashi.

OT: Angel Beats! is a perfect example why I love 12 episode series'. HQ and amazing. Better quality in ONE episode in 12's than 1 episode in a 100 episode series.

Any series I watch that is only 12episodes I will wish was 24. Any series I watch that was 25 I will wish was 50 and so on. It is tough to give my preference of episodes so to decide I will have to pick what anime produced that best episodes per amount of episodes available, which in this case makes it 11-15 episodes as my favorite length. If I like the anime no length will satisfy me, if the anime is adequate or worse then I don't really give my two cents on it.
PS: Clannad and Code Geass should be in the 50episodes, I don't know about most people but for me I don't believe a sequels following the same series belongs on it own.

It's because it takes me a while to watch 25 episodes while 12 episodes only takes a few days and I get into it easily.

I've loved both 12 and 25ish episodes...50 episodes is...good at times also.
The longer the series, the harder to sustain originality/entertainment imo.

I agree with shadow, the length of the series doesn't show at all how good it is.
Although I voted for 50 ish becuase code Geass, clannad (both series) are about that length

Around 12 episode for sure. No fillers, all about story and characters, and most of the time it doesn't leave you with a cliffhanger.

That's beyond the point, a few bad episodes don't make the series itself bad..
And who says fillers can't be amusing? Gintama's fillers practically make up for the series.

Where in my post did I say anything about fillers, or disliking them for that matter? I've yet to find it. Never seen Gintama? I'm sure you have, 252 and at least 75% of it are fillers yet it's one of my favourite anime.

Maybe I'll try out Gintama. Every 100+ series I've watched has crapped out after about 50 episodes, maybe it will be better :3

There's a reason why it's rated highly, because it's funny yet it knows when to be serious. Truly an amazing show.

I can't even choose. I've seen two anime series's with less than 12 episodes, which I really enjoyed. Seen plenty of anime with the other anime lengths and I've enjoyed them all.
I don't really care what length the series is; as long as I enjoy it.
