Sorry, but you're aiming people to go at the skiddy way (Let alone that PHP script is completely obvious & you didn't go in actual details). Teaching how to use a tool is bad, you should teach about the method instead. I had in plan writing a real write up on that method, but Steam Sales stole my soul.
I guess many here totally see your angle, but wouldn't it be a tremendous waste of time to explain everything in detail for each and every tutorial? If this tutorial was named something like "how symlinking works", there would be no question you were right. But in its current form I cannot see why trowing in a couple of tools to help out is such a bad thing.

I'm no universal answer to anything, and I mostly just lurk around, but I've grown pretty tired of the "do it manually" ranting in pretty much every thread. If the poster really doesn't know how to do it manually, it's h*r loss! And that person will definitly figure that out somewhere along the line. But at this spesific point in time they are getting the results they want from havij/sqlmap/shells/etc, and probably see no reason to try to "reinvent the wheel". It's like, where does it end? Perhaps we should try to make people stop using pre-made shells as well. After all, its better to write one yourself, you get the features you need/want and a shell that isn't possible to find on the box with
grep -Eir "c99|c100|hacker|haxxor|shell" /home/www

OP: Thanks for (beeing better than me) and contributing. I'm sure many users will appreciate a tutorial about how symlinking actually works. Because if you're just learning this stuff your are bound to get to a point where a symlink shell just won't do the trick.

That was all... Happy hacking 👍
