It sucks to see it gone, At least I got mine when I did.

I don't use mine personally, but I always assumed these were a benefit to marketing the site via refferal.

Never used mine to be honest :/ : /

All thread subscriptions converted to PM notifications. You'll need to alter them again.

Damn omni, way to get at it.

So anyone who had the email is gone forever? Well anyways, I never applied anyways.

#1 - I just paid for someone's upgrade within the half hour ago, will he still get the email forwarding?

#2 - Will I still get the email forwarding? I've had uber for about 5 days and it still doesn't work. Will it be cancelled as well?

From the wording in the thread, seems like Omni is done with that as a service.
He even said existing ones may be cancelled, I've been Ub3r for almost 2 years and I'll lose access to my [email protected]

Even though I lost access last year.

Not a big loss, I don't know many people that used them anyways.
Good decision Omni.

If I don't have to remove existing forwards I won't. I did have to remove one members forward due to abuse but unless I see other real problems I'll likely restrict the blocking to abusers.

But going forward I prefer to stop the ub3r email service. It was iffy to begin with but I'm glad many users did get one and enjoy it.

Again...those with existing working forwards will be notified if I decide to cancel the service.

I filed my request for a email about 72 hours ago, am I discluded?

Ahh it's sad. I really liked that feature. Hope you will be able to resolve the issue, Omni. But if it's not possible then yeah I will miss it. :)

* - Hikki - Nov 20, 2012

Thanks for the update. Although this feature was nice one 😉

Mine hasn't even worked in a bloody long time. Used to use it lots but then it started having huge delays on when stuff was forwarded, just gave up on it.

That was a year or so ago.

Thanks for informing us, I had no idea about the ub3r email, I couldn't set one up but didn't bother me too much, Thanks again 🤝

Right as I get accepted for ub3r >_<
Oh well, live and let live.

That's a sad news to hear. Who wouldn't love to have an email that ends as @hackforums.net ? It was so cool.

I think members who have them set up already are okay, just for new people won't be getting them.
