* - well then - Oct 22, 2014 (Oct 22, 2014 09:35 AM)World Peace. Wrote: Will this interfere with Ratting on a vpn?Not sure. If you're on a vpn regardless, I wouldn't think the person resolving you could utilize a vpn's IP. * - Ren - Oct 22, 2014 Posting so I can remember to try it out when I'm back on PC thanks OP for this method! * - Cyrus - Oct 22, 2014 Thanks for sharing OP - appreciated! * - Grievοus - Oct 22, 2014 Thanks for the share J, going to be doing this tonight and see if I get any results from skype resolves. * - Cyrus - Oct 22, 2014 Do you need to create a fresh Skype account too? * - gunner05 - Oct 23, 2014 thanks for this! i completely forgot about peerblock! * - sophrosyne - Oct 23, 2014 Glad to see someone else use this program as well. It can do more than this. It is a damn good program to have. * - sytax - Oct 23, 2014 Damn nice share OP gonna try this out in a bit....^_^ * - Trisomy 21 - Oct 23, 2014 (Oct 22, 2014 10:01 PM)Cyrus Wrote: Do you need to create a fresh Skype account too? Some resolvers can get all previous ip addresses associated with a skype account, so if you don't want to be resolved, yes. * - Aurora - Oct 23, 2014 Wow, this is quite new and different from the things I've seen. I will be sure to try this out. * - well then - Oct 23, 2014 (Oct 23, 2014 04:05 PM).Sinister Wrote: Wow, this is quite new and different from the things I've seen. I will be sure to try this out. Thank you for the positive response(s). * - powerbygood - Oct 23, 2014 Hmm... I ran peerblock, but I am still able to resolve myself with a skype resolver. * - Linux™ - Oct 25, 2014 This has already been done by Dexter, I think it's called the FireStarter method. Reference: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3726185 You're on a good start OP. However this is not copied, it is a remake of something that can already be found. * - Zabuza - Oct 25, 2014 Yeah, I've thought about this in the past as well. Thanks for sharing the method, but by no means did you create it. * - liam1uk - Oct 26, 2014 I've known about Peerblock for a long time now but didn't know it stopped resolvers. Correct me if im uncorrect but won't this also stop you from being online on steam?, i believe it does because whenever i used to run it while torrenting it would disconnect me from steam and i wouldn't beable to message my friends. Well anyway thanks for this "Method" op i already kind of knew about it because of the steam thing i explained but i didn't know it would block resolvers on skype!. Thanks i will test this out when i am on my main pc later!. |
