* - Fireworks - Oct 29, 2014 Are you able to live your life twice? * - GroveStreetOG - Oct 29, 2014 I havent watched that many animes but the ONE anime I have rewatched about 3 times is "Code geass" r1 and r2, and I plan on rewatching it during the winter break ^.^ * - zyvox - Oct 29, 2014 (Oct 29, 2014 07:51 AM)-F0rsak3n- Wrote: I wish I could buy a machine that would erase a selective part of my memories ;_; Like, this would be the greatest thing ever. It's probably gonna be possible in the future aswell. Although it's kind of scary. * - Giggl3z - Oct 29, 2014 Re-watch anime? Well that depends on how much you liked it :S I watched Rosario + Vampire (both seasons) about 3 times i think... If you have nothing to watch, just rewatch some and mybe you'll get an idea on what to watch next ^^ * - Mr Orange - Oct 29, 2014 If I really enjoy the anime I will. A couple animes have in fact, those being full metal panic, code geass, and tokyo ghoul. * - Leminiscent - Oct 29, 2014 I've never re-watched an anime, save for maybe shit I watched as a kid, like DBZ, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. Although, I do want to re-watch Clannad, but I've been putting it off 'cause it's so... shudder 🤨 * - bustey - Oct 29, 2014 no i dont.. watched an anime someone linked me one time .. was 2 dudes fuckin * - CorruptedProject - Oct 29, 2014 I re-watch anime when there is nothing new. Anime like Full metal alchemist is a enjoyable anime to watch. * - XxXx - Oct 29, 2014 I've re-watched certain episodes. Death Note final episode was one that I've rewatched around 10 times over the years. Aside from random episodes I've rewatched the anime I rated 10/10. I sometimes get the feeling of I want to watch an anime but I don't want to start a new one, so I end up rewatching something. The only series I've rewatched more than once is Clannad, I think I've rewatched that around 3 times. The feels are strong in that and always seem to get me. * - DragonBook - Oct 29, 2014 I used to rewatch Anime and Anime films. My max was usually 3. Now the only thing I rewatch is Porco Rosso, because it's so damn classy. I've seen it like 10 times. * - Nevieth - Oct 29, 2014 If it's a good series with a lot of key plot points which are easy to miss, yes I tend to rewatch shows. Shows like Code Geass or Death Note I've re watched about 3 or 4 times each, changing between sub and dub each time. Shows like Naruto or Bleach however aren't as easy to re watch, as they consist of over 300 to 600 episodes. I just finished watching Code Geass for the 3rd time, and I still find things in there which I missed the first time. Same with Noragami or even FMA:b. * - Chad ThunderCock - Oct 29, 2014 (Oct 29, 2014 05:48 PM)Nevieth Wrote: If it's a good series with a lot of key plot points which are easy to miss, yes I tend to rewatch shows. I never tried to watch dub anime although I've heard most of my favs have awesome dubs, but I am one of those who hate dubs for "no reason" I guess.. I might try... But it removes the charm of the japanese language and hearing it for the second time with different voices might be a bit weird and unpleasing * - Nevieth - Oct 29, 2014 (Oct 29, 2014 05:55 PM)-F0rsak3n- Wrote: how long do you usually wait between each rewatch? I tend to wait anywhere between 1 day (Noragami & Zankyou no Terror) all the way up to a year. I need to start re watching Death Note again as it's really good (first 25 or so episodes that is) but it's been like 4 months so far. The way I look at dubs is like this; Quote:The voice actors are more fit for the roles in Japanese, however instead of trying to fit with society or impress a group.. just watch it how you want to, if you're going to multitask do dub so you don't miss plot points, but do sub if you're concentrating on the show and want the original experience intended by the writers.https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4513513&pid=43087115#pid43087115 When you watch a show or anime, watch it for you... fit to your needs, don't try and impress others over the internet as that means you're not actually enjoying it. I love dubs and subs, they both fit to different roles. When I farm gold in World of Warcraft I watch dubs so I can still hear the story while I play, and I watch subs when I'm only concentrating on the show so I can see the original experience intended for me by the writers. * - Simply™ - Oct 29, 2014 The only anime I watch is TLA, I re-watch it like I do with every show. * - Nine - Oct 29, 2014 I would only re-watch an anime which I haven't seen in a long time. Only thing I've re-watched so far are Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ since the last time I watched them was when I was a kid. |
