This is a fantastic addition, thank you for the update.

Tomorrow I'll add a captcha though to make sure it's not spammed.

Can you please add the Country Lock to the Extras page? Just in case members need to quickly get to the page again.

Nice security feature, just locked in my country.

So if someone tries to login from different country, will we get a notification of some sort?

When the feature is 100% I will.

Yes, a basic message about being country blocked. It will not tell them what country.

Omniscient seems like you misread the second question (go sleep lol). He was asking if we get any notification when someone else tries to access our accounts from a different country. 🤝

To be honest, I think essential security features like these should be made available to all usergroups; I find it unethical and wrong to require an upgrade for, what is essentially, the safety of your account.

I guess I should build that in too.

Project Gauth is 80% done and should be open to everyone (not sure about that). Country locking is an extra measure.

A state lock would be pretty nice.

Good add.

Okay, that's cool. This will definitely help people know whats going on with their accounts. I would suggest you adding the following info in the notification:

Country of the guy who tried to break in
IP Address (As Google does when someone access your account)
Time / Date

These information would be useful, I suppose. 🤝

Awesome feature, enabling right now!

Gauth next!

* - N1nj4Styl3 - Apr 11, 2015

Just guys make sure not to tell where you come from or live in as you might be a target already. (They might be able to access our accounts through proxies/vpns of our countries). I know there are a lot of ways to get peoples IPs/Countries but you can be more safe like that. 🤝

Good implementation, happy that it isn't a joke this time.

* - adampelletgun - Apr 11, 2015

Nice security feature.

Should be useful.

* - BLURRYFΛCE - Apr 11, 2015

Great new security feature, would love to see it being able to be locked to U.S. states like Understalker suggested.
