Perfect thanks man. Thats also the purpose of this giveaway...any suggestions that will make this more usable and beneficial to the user are appreciated. I will look into adding this function today hopefully, if not by the weekend.

Keep suggestions flowing guys.

For the buttons that open MS tools as msconfig you might also want to check if they aren't blocked using an Image Hijack or disabled in registry.

Yes! Get ya! I like it... you mean like when someone is ratted and they disable task manager currently the button on the toolkit currently just does:
open task manager

but it should check to see if task manager is disabled and if so fix it first and then run it.

I hope im getting your point.

Yes that + Image Hijacks :D
Just check if a Debugger is set at
Code
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
and remove it.

Very efficient little toolbox, bro! A handy toolkit indeed, could be very useful in the future.
Thank you for the share mate.

Btw, if it hasn't already then please add an auto-update feature so it searches for the latest version! That would be useful for me in the future as an alternative to checking if mine is updated if I happen to be reminded by seeing your thread pop-up again.

Nevertheless, vouch for Digital and his swanky toolbox!

Kind Regards,
~ dodgygeez

Thanks for the vouch and I am glad you like it. The app and some of the apps within such as speccy, autoruns & shalliremoveit are portable so not sure about the update feature. However the toolkit does download the latest versions of JRT, ADWCleaner, MBAM e.t.c

I may add a notification to the app to advise should a new version be available (maybe that a way around) but tbh when techytoolkit.com is up it will be much easier to download the latest version directly from there and/or from download.techytoolkit.com and being only 260kb it was designed to be downloaded and run just whenever needed.

Thanks for all suggestions I am grateful and will look into improving this toolkit as best as I can.
Whoop I just got into Debug!

Neither ring 0 or 3 and yes your more than welcome to see the source code. Send me your skype and ill share screen tomorrow. TBH its not in my interest with such a clean record and years of posts to try to infect users of HF or anywhere. But if you request to see the source code. No problem kiddo

Oh yes, I understand that but I was more referring to any improvements you do for TechyToolkit so I don't have to revisit this forum for each time something new is implemented or something like that! :D Not just because I'm a lazy bastard but also because I would hate for new things to be added to this handy little tool and me not having access to them because I have forgot to check the thread for the lastest updates for it if you know what I mean ;)

Ok I just read the rest of your reply and it seems you initially understood me anyway, aha :) Appears as though this tool has a promising little future. I'm sure it will be very useful when i need it ^^

* - Digital™ - Jun 23, 2015

Thanks for all the comments guys. Im pleased you find it useful. I am going to polish the whole thing up, get all the required permissions from suppliers (free software anyway) and release it properly when i get chance. As for SpeedFan and TreeSize.... if people want it..Ill add it.
