* - Straps - Jun 29, 2015 You should think about the benefits in the future. * - +Haze - Jun 29, 2015 I've never had such an issue, there's nothing like "How to stay motivated" for me. I love what I do and that drives my passion for coding. I absolutely love it, even to the point that I was actually coding a program the day before one of my most important college exam ahaha * - msuper28 - Jun 30, 2015 You need to stay motivated. Only you can stay motivated. Just keep working, just a little step foward in your work/job/passion/studies can keep you motivated, in this way you'll see results. * - Th3PonyWizard - Jun 30, 2015 Motvation's a bitch. Don't rely on it. Discipline is something you probably need. Push yourself until you enjoy it. * - WojeT - Jul 1, 2015 I make a featuer list before I start on a project, it is just a list of featuers I want some program to have. This first list is usually short and contains featuers that will requiere a lot of work to completed. Then when I start working on a featuer I break it down further, into small featuers that will take a few hours or a day max to complete. You then get to tick out a box every time you complete a small featuer, and you will always have a list of other things todo. * - Weco - Jul 1, 2015 Imagine that you can make $$$ with good Programs/Games. Thats what I always do. * - SIM-1964408 - Jul 1, 2015 Just always think of the end result and if its worth it, that should be motivating in itself. * - CheesyBread - Jul 1, 2015 Write a software that shows your favorite pornos. When you stop coding, it stops the video. Keep coding and it keeps showing you the video. Or just think of the fuckton of money you're gonna make. * - rowenmcdaniel - Jul 3, 2015 One thing that keeps me motivated to program is knowing that I created something from nothing. It also helps a lot if you find a project to work on that you are genuinely interested in. * - JavaProfit - Jul 3, 2015 (Jul 1, 2015 07:31 PM)More Robot Wrote: Write a software that shows your favorite pornos. When you stop coding, it stops the video. Keep coding and it keeps showing you the video. Seems like something that would just distract me rather than keep me focused on coding. The "fuckton of money" suggestion, however, works well. Even if you know deep down you'll never make money from it. |
