That's really useful actually. * - Wirt - Feb 22, 2016 One question though, let's say a person wrote down his secret key or w/e it's called that you put into like Authy that then generates a new log in code every 30 seconds. What if a person wrote that down, sold his account, but gave the person he sold it to the secret key, and the person who bought the account just has to put it into Authy? * - Saint - Feb 22, 2016 Great change, this will hopefully cut down the scams. * - Bluffer - Feb 22, 2016 Great improvement Omni, thank you! * - Light - Feb 22, 2016 (Feb 22, 2016 01:49 PM)LitecoŃ–n Wrote: One question though, let's say a person wrote down his secret key or w/e it's called that you put into like Authy that then generates a new log in code every second. That's a possibility but those chances are very small and this should help cutdown on account sales. This is just another layer. Having the dates of enabled and disabled for GAUTH and the last validation will help. * - Omniscient - Feb 22, 2016 (Feb 22, 2016 01:49 PM)LitecoŃ–n Wrote: One question though, let's say a person wrote down his secret key or w/e it's called that you put into like Authy that then generates a new log in code every 30 seconds. Logging the IP of the Test Code Validation too. I haven't added any data from it on the Trust Scan page yet though but I might. More features for account security and deals is coming. * - Varane - Feb 22, 2016 This is a fucking genius method to prove original owner. * - #Skyline - Feb 22, 2016 I can see myself using this alot, sweet feature Omni ! * - 'Ben - Feb 22, 2016 Good addition but you can't fix stupidity, people just need to use a little more common sense. * - CRT - Feb 22, 2016 Should of been like this from the beginning. Glad you've done this Omni. * - Omniscient - Feb 22, 2016 (Feb 22, 2016 02:52 PM)Curt. Wrote: Should of been like this from the beginning. Glad you've done this Omni. No, it should NOT have. Features added need to be tested FIRST. I am not going to roll out site features for thousands of members without FIRST TESTING IT ON SMALLER BASE! Furious right now over your comment. How dare you question my judgment. |
