That's very resource intensive, it's super easy to catch xrayers though, all you need to do is log the ratio of e.g. stone they mine compared to e.g. diamond ore and if the ratio is beyond what can be considered lucky, then immediate action could be taken through an automatic reporting system of suspected xrayers.

We have that but we don't have auto bans yet because they tend to be inaccurate at times.

They have that actually. They can see the amount of diamond you have mined for the amount of stone you have mined etc.

It's not about x-raying for ore, more about x-raying to find someone's base.

You just happened to not have your chest room claimed. I was simply looking for a way to get into your base by mining against the chunks that you have claimed.

It's not necessarily xray. Most hacked clients have chest ESP.
I don't think there's a way to block/discover those.
The placement of your base was bad IMO.

Anti-xray to hide base is legitimate concern, albeit probably too resource intensive? Not sure. Crowd funding for more powerful server?

I'll get an admin to send me some screenshots of you digging from our AFK room (attached to our main room) directly towards our secondary chest room (entirely encased in stone).
Either x-ray or chest esp was being used, both of which are bannable offenses.

i couldnt dig the other direction because that was a claimed chunk
i know exactly what youre talking about now, because when we made it to that room we saw that we had to tnt to get into your base.
after getting into your base i saw that you had openings into nearby caves leading directly to your base. if i xrayed, why didnt i just go in from there?
