Look up one of the tutorials online. It's mainly just finding an exploit in their code that allows you to upload your own SQL code. You'll need to know SQL to be able to SQL Inject.

Try SQLMap it's really easy to learn how to use and it's really easy to pick up. There's tons of tutorials on here and on youtube, it's up to you how to learn.
