when this happened to me I didnt bitch I fixed my behavior. Seems like OP just needs to learn how to be nicer to people.

I kinda do like the suggestion. But how would someone add proof to a DWC rep? - That would just result in a hella lot more DD and CA threads

post a screenshot tbh.
Or make a community alert thread, and link it in the reputation.

Be nicer to scammers because I'm going to get revengerepped?

The screenshot thing could work, although they can be easily faked.

But like, in this case, a community alert for someone refusing to use a middleman? That seems stupid to me

If a person is fully down to deal and it's going fluidly until a middleman is mentioned, actually I feel that deserves a CA.

Although I totally understand where you are coming from with the suggestion.
DWC can mean a LOT of things, ranging from simply the person is acting shady in regards to code or files, to trying to being scammish.

I have left DWC reps for numerous various reasons, albeit I try to always indicate WHY I am saying Deal with care, its not always relevant.

Frankly, I think this is best left to the users discretion, and maturity to know when and when not to say such a potential damaging thing. And yes, lets be honest, we got a lot of kiddies here who think posting DWCs on a users rep is just the apocolypse against the users reputation. But end of the day, How many people have you personally seen banned/closed for reputation abuse?

Case Example - although he did a few retarded things, rep abuse was one of them.

tl;dr - Idiots who abuse rep get whats coming to them at the end of the day.

My thought as well, it seems sketchy if they reject the suggestion of a Middleman

You giving him negative rep with a thread to a community alert is also considered almost like a "DWC".

Exactly, and it's justified, as a thread is linked. He on the other hand just made some bullshit up in his revengerep.
If I actually refused to deal with a middleman, wouldn't complain about the rep at all, as it would have been deserved.

A DWC rep is a warning, not an accusation, and is therefore allowed.

"but rather because it's stupid to be allowed."
I know bro.

Some users are just using the "DWC" option, without any reason.
I think Omniscient can not make this "illegal", because we should be able to warn other members in reputation.
Do I agree with it? We'll never know, it's irrelevant what I think regarding this either way.

It's up to member who see those "DWC" neg reps, to do research wether to trust you or not.
Anyway, just here to tell you that more members are having this "issue", yet it's unpreventable I guess. šŸ¤

He isn't complaining about the fact that it's allowed.
He just thinks that there should be added proof when saying "DWC", if I'm right.

You should always think before you speak.
Why did you give the user a negative reputation if you very well knew there's a chance chance of him or her returning it?
Do to others what you want done to yourself.

Wow, did he just got banned? 🤐😯

More members should think like this.
Too many "scammers" and REAL scammers, which are still out there trying to find a new victim.

Quote: It's just stupid that there's no policy for this honestly.

There is a policy for it and it's clear. It is allowed.

From Help Docs...

Quote:Someone left me a Deal With Caution reputation, isn't that abuse?
We do not consider DWC (Deal With Caution) reputations abuse by itself. We consider it good advice for all members in all situations when doing deals.

OP account CLOSED.

That does sum it up.

Only a moron would believe that you can create a perfect reputation system. OP is an F'n MORON!
