I was just about to post a thread on why my images in my threads and sig are gone.

Guess i have to use imgur now -_-

Better bookmark this. It'll be needed to link on many threads in the next few days. 🤣

Thanks for letting us know.

This explains why some of my threads were broken.

I honestly thought this thread was going to be about that silly user that joins and makes his username "posting" blah blah..

Thanks Omni for keeping the site secure.

Seems they got a new cert?

Makes it annoying for the things like puzzles (e.g. Think into Royalty) which use postimage specifically because it doesn't remove the exif data though :')

Interesting change, Omni. Surely someone knows of a better alternative that will catch on soon? I personally prefer imgur since it's super simple.

Thing is, it reduces quality since it compresses anything over 2 MBs

* - McDolands - Feb 3, 2017

Oh, well I don't tend to upload anything too high quality anyways, Any websites I can use if I do?

* - bοxxy - Feb 3, 2017

Gyazo and Imgur are superior anyways.

Agreed, oh well shit happens.
Can still upload files inside our avatars.

Never noticed that those urls don't have HTTPS, but it will for sure keep the site HTTPS, good going :)

Those are very shit sites and this move would be helpful by avoid broken or glitched img's on HF.
