In my inbox there was "Junx", not "Junx." or "Junx:" or "Junx!". It was "Junx" like real "Junx".

Imo only alphanumeric characters (with the exception of underscores, etc.) should be allowed in a username, but that's up to Omniscient at the end of the day.
