You can just turn it off and you won't get that blank screen at all anymore. Solved. Ad's won't hurt you. Become friends with them.

The problem is the invasive ads that track what you do. Or the pop ups, or the huge giant ads you see on sited like the Washington post.

You have been tracked your whole life since Birth. I see your point, you can disable the addon for HF only I believe? There is a option for that.

I have it always on and it has always been working on HF but not anymore I see it's not a problem because HF doesn't have that many ads

The forum don't have pop-up ads nor huge spam ads, so i don't see a reason for using adb on the forum tbh

Last time I remember, it didn't block ads for me as they were just images.

When I wasn't upgraded I had adblocker and the site worked fine for me, don't know if that changed or not.

I think he means the same thing as I do.
Had adblock, but ads still showed.
That is not solely how income is made on Hack Forums, it only accounts for a small amount, which is important, but doesn't "keep HF running smooth" IMO.

No I know it wasn't the only income HF makes it was a joke lol. I use Adblock myself.

Simply use UBlock instead of adblock or adblock+ and you'll be fine. I made the switch a while ago and it's the perfect plugin for blocking adds.
