No- just pull the trigger and buy Ub3r now.

I don't know why you'd buy the 6-month in the first place. I mean, this place is addictive and you'll probably end up buying l33t twice, instead of a single lifetime purchase 🤝

I mean you could wait to the last month of your l33t then upgrade to uber xD

Nope, they changed the Ub3r upgrade to a one year upgrade.

Now when you hover over new upgrades Sapphire of Ub3r awards, the reason isn't "Thanks" anymore and is displayed:

Ub3r until xx/xx/xxxx

Oof. Glad I got it before that happened.

last year all the current ubers were bitching that r00t got more features, even though r00t was double the price. so omni deleted r00t and uber for a year was made

Did the ranks get combined or was that Omni just giving the finger to the Ub3rs?

all r00t members got given ub3r basically as a fuck you to the bitching ub3rs. if they didn't complain ub3r would be pretty fucking rare now in comparison to r00t i imagine but the whole idea got scrapped which is really unfortunate.

Dumbasses lol. The whole point of Ub3r was to be a sign of prestige and not something you could just buy. Maybe Omni will try something like it again in the future.

i guess v3ndor is kinda that, but its really only for marketplace users. i would like to see a new role one day to fill the void of ub3rs former glory

As i don't wanna risk getting my account closed, all I'm gonna say is get your facts right before posting. It was more than that.

i wasn’t too active at the time, that was the impression I got at the time. Might look through some old threads I guess

By the time 6 months is up you already can get ub3r so I think the 6 month l33t is best bet.

I honestly miss the r00t account upgrade. It motivated people into actually putting effort and thought into their posts instead of all these r/AskReddit copy+paste threads. To be fair, I wasn't particularly active at the time, so I don't know if there was any real reasons for dumping the rank, but I got more or less the same impression you got.
