Definitely has for me just as it has for pretty much everyone else I assume.

I don't feel like there's anything I must do before I die, but I don't feel like missing out on things.

Made thousands on a game company, spent it all on a new car, had an employee die of covid as well.

Covid was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I had a casual job while starting my business but this casual job is paying way too much ($50/hour). The original plan was to have the casual job while slowly growing my business. That didn't happen though, from making so much at this job I'd lost motivation to put time and effort into my own business. Then covid hit here.

All the casuals got stood down temporarily (2 months) which forced me to really start pushing my business as money was getting tight. After working heaps on the website, SEO and pushing google ads I started getting fantastic results.

My first financial year I did about $25k sales. This year is looking to close out around $170k. (excluding the casual job I still work now)

I truly believe if it wasn't for covid I would have continued being lazy with my business and wouldn't even be close to the position my fiance and I are in now.

EDIT: Should also add none of my friends or family have caught covid, I don't even know anyone who has. Australia's numbers have been extremely low compared to the rest of the world though.
