Quote:Paypal may be evil, but paypal stable coin may be good for crypto ecosystem if it traded on exchanged just like USDC or USDT

Wait till you find out that Paypal stablecoin wallets are proprietary and that anyone holding it is required to have KYC and/or a Paypal account. Don't think they can't do that. They didn't say this is decentralized, they just said it was a stablecoin cryptocurrency.

Quote:Paypal stable coin may be also help existing stores and merchants to accept crypto with just a click with no risk of price fluctuation or bothering to understand about blockchain ,cryptos or integration

Literally no different than paying with Paypal USD or Paypal Stablecoin.

You got Binance worth more than Paypal now. Don't you think that if Paypal wanted to be a crypto exchange they could have done it by now and made a small fortune in fees? The reason they don't though is because of the risk it will gut their existing business model. And it will. If Paypal supports crypto it creates zero need for their core business as a payment processor. Paypal could have used their brand to be a gateway to crypto with their gazillions of members. Instead they are morons and I hope their business is Blockbuster in 5 years or Blackberry (just died a couple months ago).

I think just like USD ,EUR or CAD etc wallets they have on paypal accounts, they will just add PUSD or some kind stable coin wallet option to paypal accounts

If the stable coin is ERC20 or any other mainstream blockchain,it should be great..but if they bring on some sort of their own private chain..then I agree with your apprehensions
