I have a concept already written up. I mostly think it would be more useful in Convo where we have Profile Cards already from the Right Nav Menu but I'd like to improve them. I have to consider implementation more but this is something I am working on.
I can check existing plugins to see if they fit what I want but I often prefer to just build my own features.

That's good news. I don't know if there is a way that you can make the feature optional, as it seems it's split in the middle on users who would like it, and others that wouldn't. I think it's really convenient, as I rarely click on peoples profile.. but if this feature was available, I know I would use it often as I use it often on other sites. I think if I was still using mobile while browsing the forum, that I wouldn't really care about it as much and would prefer loading the full profile.. but on desktop, the mini window is great imo.
