I completely agree with you… but perhaps that’s actually in people’s best interest. Some things are better left unknown to us.

I strongly disagree because if any of this touches zero point energy, propulsion breakthroughs, efficient energy sources/methods, or similar science... Then you could say it's one of the worst robberies of mankind's potential ever recorded/known by us.

We're potentially looking at a 75 year period in which the future of Earth was significantly held back so that current power & control systems could be preserved.

Think about it in regards to oil/gas/fuel/energy and the control over the global economy, progress, and abilities.

The most sane answer to everything is that everything being seen is just a gov project, and that's what leads to the thought, "well holy shit, if this is us, why the fuck are fighting over oil?"

And then any other explanation is obviously just an extension of that - more complicated, but same premise.

I think govs and the people will have to come to terms with this, and it'll take time to get over it. How do you tell an old man who fought in a war for a politician's oil that it was unnecessary, and other energy systems exist that completely invalidate our current technology? You can't do that easily. And that ultimately is the main driver of hiding all this for so long. There's an extreme guilt factor. Regardless of who/what/when/where/why, the people will have a hard time understanding why for almost a century (or longer), we have been forced into systems that may not even be relevant to modern (but secret) capabilities.

Like being forced to rely on a donkey for transport and then finding out about horses, trains, cars, and planes...

But now take that analogy and amplify it by a trillion for a comparison to what this could be like.

The guy relying on camels and donkeys discovering a fighter jet for the first time would have an easier time than the fighter jet pilot discovering what's truly possible.

And that's the problem. With disclosure also comes an acknowledgement that everything we've dealt with in terms of how our economy functions, and which countries dominate Earth is completely relying on outdated & incorrect info.

Anyways, I'm going on a tangent lol. The reason for so much infighting in the US Gov ultimately comes down to this. It's one thing to release the info - but the natural second conversation will be about why it was not released sooner, and I can tell you bluntly that many people will NOT forgive for that.
