* - N3w_2_H@Ck1n™ - Nov 28, 2010 Never had an issue but I'll remember to link people here who do. (Nov 28, 2010 11:49 PM)Mystic Wrote: Are you going to fix it so we don't need to use this? Because im not doing this. Id rather wait/not come on -.- Obviously you're either doing it, or you don't have to do it, if you're posting lol. * - Lassy - Nov 28, 2010 Im obviously on a proxy, checking to see if there was a fix, but is he going to fix it or just say "cbf" and we all live on? * - Omniscient - Nov 28, 2010 Actually it appears Google DNS has a problem with non-www version. Not sure why. I'll monitor it but I hope it resolves properly tomorrow. The issue with DNS is that even immediate changes don't take immediate effect. So it sort of takes a few days for everyone to have it right. However I'm fairly confident I have all DNS settings correct on my end. We all just have to wait till it's propagated. * - cobija - Nov 28, 2010 I use Comodo's DNS. I have never had any problems. http://www.comodo.com/secure-dns/switch/ * - ©2011 All Rights Reserved - Nov 29, 2010 I was having this problem today's morning. But since I got back from school, it's all resolved automatically. :) * - Inveno - Nov 29, 2010 I have had no issues at all in connecting to the forum, but I have made a note, just in case lol * - Carb0n F1ber - Nov 29, 2010 I was using GoogleDNS for a very long time (I remember it was one other of Omni's thread that pointed me to it) until recently when I noticed that the route taken (number of hops) to yahoo servers was too long from my country. However on my ISP's DNS it worked fine. So I switched back. No issues with hackforums however. * - ~Tom~ - Nov 29, 2010 I was having connection problems until I removed the www (No change of DNS) Seems to be working fine, and it appears my bookmarks are updated. * - Cyber Hacker - Nov 29, 2010 HF Working Fine For Me Without Any DNS Problem :) * - Dec3ent - Nov 29, 2010 Thanks, working now. ✌✌ * - Grammar Rays - Nov 29, 2010 Thanks Omniscient, I had a little downtime, but I made a hot chocolate and took my dog for a walk and came back and everything was back to normal. * - Rippin™ - Nov 29, 2010 Yeah, Google DNS was not working for me, I had to use OpenDNS. * - iDope -.- - Nov 29, 2010 I'm absolutely fine, though I had some problems yesterday.. Thanks for the update. * - S70N3R - Nov 29, 2010 Worked now but wasn't working yesterday, strange. Anyway thanks. * - Omniscient - Nov 29, 2010 I fixed the Google DNS problem. I added a third DNS server to help spread the love. I'll probably add a 4th eventually just to make sure we always have DNS. |
