lol I always check the links now to make sure it's not a rick roll. I only got rick rolled once by it. It should only be once. After that you should learn not to be a dumbass and check, or just turn of javascript/use google chrome. I don't really support this. It's just a joke, get a sense of humour. It's not hard to avoid, if you just look. (;

It's not a matter of whether your sense of humor sucks; it's a matter if people just want to be jackasses for no reason. I realise the Lounge is basically /b/ now, and I personally can't stand it. But, if I want to hang out there, I shouldn't be looking over my shoulder every time I click a freaking spoiler/URL.

Did you even read what he wrote about Notorious Mental ? He was talking about his attitude not his meat spinning [ Which he doesnt even do as far as I know ].
Also if you want to hang out in the lounge and not want to look over your shoulder every time you are about to click a freaking spoiler then DON`T CLICK THEM!

Okay, don't get me wrong; I check links before opening them nowadays as well. It's just, you can't deny that it's human nature to be curious. If they have a spoiler in their signature, a person is going to want to see what's under it.

What are you on about? Richard said only 9 year olds would find meatsp1nning funny, and you said "just because you don't get someone's sense of humor blahblah". Who cares if its his sense of humor? Obviously the majority of the people here don't find it funny.

Yes, but that's what makes it so funny, people fall for it every time, and it is effectively social engineering all the "Master Hackers" here.

He didn`t said only 9 year olds would find meatsp1nning funny, he wasn`t talking about meatsp1nning on the line where he mentioned Notorious Mental, he [ Richard ] hates NM so he was bitching about NM`s attitude and spam [ For which NM gets warned by the mods if they do their job properly ].
On the other hand, as I said on my first post shit like meatsp1nning as childish and immature but yet again "THIS IS THE INTERNETZ NIGGAH" so watch out, and also The Lounge and the sigs aren`t the only places people post meatsp1ns and shit.

P.S. If you don`t find something funny ignore it and let the people who do HAVE FUN.

Well, clearly nothing is going to be done about this, as I recall Universal making a topic about it before and it getting closed for whatever reason. Many people have brought this up in the past, so this discussion is rather pointless. I'd love to see something odne about it, but nothing will be done.

I guess I should respond and end this.

I am not going to disable urls in the spoiler since in many cases it's useful. You have make sure the links you click are indeed valid.
