Knock them out? In most cases it's more then one person being the bully and they pick on the smaller, weaker ones because they know they can get away with it. It'd be hard to knock a whole group of jocks out by yourself when they're 10x stronger then you.

standing up for yourself takes out that control. Unless you're a 5'2 75lb kid being bullied by a 6'4 300lb big ass nigga, if you fight back, the bully will leave you alone.
nobody ever bullied me because i never put myself in that situation.
a couple times when i was in 6-8th grade, people tried to because i didnt talk to many people and stayed with 15-20 people most of the time whom i would talk with.
when i wasn't with them, people would start fucking with me.
next time they did it, i told them to fuck off or actually try something.
nobody ever did.
I was 5'0 until my freshman year in high school then i hit puberty and grew 10 inches in 4 years.
you only get bullied if you let it happen and you refuse to stand up for yourself.

If you lose the fight they will continue to bully you.

You shall study the pure meaning of vengeance, my friend. It's not about the thrill of it. Or even the satisfaction of oneself. There's a higher purpose there. In essence you're teaching an asshole (bully) to not be one. If you're successful, the purity of vengeance is righteous.

Yes, I understand what you're stating.
I'm simply stating that vengeance may be needed at times for a reasoning as to why one may be needing a lesson on how it feels.
That one you teach a lesson may grow to be a better man instead of how he is that one term that he bullies you.

Ah, good topic. All I have to say is.
The best way to but a cease to bullying is to give said bully a reaction they aren't expecting, and that reaction is retalliation and standing up for yourself. You see the bully is under the mind set that he/she controls you, so if you break them from their illusion of control and stand up for yourself, giving them a reason(s) you're to be left alone, they will leave you alone.
I understand people being bullied may not have the confidence to achieve such a thing, but I want you to think to yourself, would rather live life thinking "what if" or live life knowing you did? knowing you did stand up for yourself, knowing you are strong enough work through hard situations, knowing you can grab life by the reigns and ride it to the end.

Exactly, I bet you were never bullied to the extent where it's actually hard to stand up for yourself. They push you to the point when you're not angry, you're just sad.
