This is probably for a complete skid who doesn't know how to change the color of his program.

first parameter in above four values is for alpha blend.. A value of 0 indicates transparent while a value of 255 indicates opaque... ;)

Alpha blend and Alpha channel are two complete different things.

I was working on something very similar, instead it used Aeonhacks ThemeBase and I also used CodeDom and reflection to create a form runtime with the skin :)
