What's the point of releasing it for free and making a sticky for it then? Doesn't make sense unless you're planning to infect people with it. You should make it open source and release under a public license.

I don't think Omniscient would ever sticky a virus.

I don't think he bothers with checking it. He even states that he isn't vouching for it and that it's your own responsiblity for using the product/service.

Not saying it's infected, obviously, but figured I'd let you know.

Omni doesn't check the actual product.
And even if he did, it's only a matter of changing the download link so Omni can sticky a virus without knowing/caring

It's up to us if we trust it or not, and i'd say dont trust this.
I think op is out for infecting users, otherwise he wouldnt care releasing the source of this since it's free.

And with releasing the source people can give their opinions on it, spot faults in code etc.

It's only for the good, but OP doesnt want to release, so theres a high chance it's a virus.

Just because I'm not releasing the source code doesn't mean it's a virus. The source code contains my website's API link, which can be abused if anyone knows it.

what makes you think we cant sniff the API link anyway?

lol dude you're on hackforums. if you're making it exploitable, it will be exploited. you're better off releasing the source so people can help you make it better.

^ exactly this.

* - RumbleFrog - May 11, 2016

I think if you really want users to use this, release your API, you can easily throttle it, I use open source applications like ShareX

* - Nadisty - May 11, 2016

Just make it open source op, it'd make your life a hella lot easier lol

I personally don't release the sources of my programs (virus-free) because I am selfish and do not want people taking snippets/copying my code etc etc.
I definitely see what you mean though

It looks like you invested some time into this. It's interesting. However, I doubt that you will get any uplift on this, considering the alternatives that are better than this as well as Gyazo / Puush: ShareX

However, doing this is always a great learning experience. I saw before that you said that "it is coded in Visual Studio". Visual Studio is an IDE, not a language. Just thought that I'd throw that out there.

Good luck in the future, I can definitely tell that you have a lot of skill and knowledge, it just needs to be improved upon.

Best regards!

Thanks for the great feedback.

This is my first attempt at starting a small "business", so your feedback means a lot.

This was your first choice for a small business?

Had many ideas in my mind, this one was the one I liked most.
