No you can send a direct Interac link, no security question/answer required. Email doesn't matter either, it's literally a link and you choose your financial institution and deposit the money.

I've done both. I actually prefer the link, but only when I have a decent relationship with the seller and have dealt with him before. Too easy to chargeback and whatnot. I'm assuming this was gotten through e-whoring.
