Yea it's so refreshing to have something new up there, I really like it. I think maybe it might be like a tiny bit too bright? I'm not sure, I think I'm just not quite fully adjusted to it yet.
Either way it's a real nice change and I think it contrasts with Mobale really well.

The logo itself is good.
But frankly, looking a bit odd man out with rest of the HF theme.

The more i browse the forum the more I'm liking this new logo.

It's not like I don't like green it just feels like theres a lil too much on that. Feels somewhat out of place.
Although the more I look at it the more normal it seems.

Typically you're not staring at the logo. It should be benign actually. If you're on HF a lot do you really even need to see a logo?

I agree and disagree.
For regular members it won't matter what it is
But for people visiting the site for the first time I'd say it's fairly important.
However I think what threw me off was just the change. It's growing on me.
Having the colors switched might look quite good though. Seeing as purple is the main color throughout the theme.
Overall I still believe it is a big improvement on the last one.

Correct and i agree.
If one spends all there time looking at forum colors/logo?
So be it, There's more important things to be concerned about within this forum.
Updates/Upgrades and new additions added weekly is whats important for Hack Forums.
As Omni has said (It should be benign actually.)
Myself, I never even noticed the new logo until i read this thread.
However? The new system works for it's time and looks great.
Though within a week or two we will have all forgotten about this and the new norm will be in place.

Shit I didn't even notice. Appears that the new logo has dropped the infamous HF slogan "Packets, Punks, and Posts"
NBut none the less I think it fits the site good.

I like it a lot aswell and the new template kinda seem nostalgic for me for some reason.
