RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - Lost99 - Aug 4, 2020 With my contacts here contracts were able. I asked about, because my contacts are members, no v3ndors. But it is not easy for new members here to find trustworthy partners for deals in the beginning. Before I came to HF, I was scammed for a lot of money. I read the Help Docs and I wanted to make my deals (bigger deals - no $5-$100) with contract and MM. but none of the sellers agreed to MM. With canceling one of them, I had really really very much luck. But I think too, with some blackhat tools it will be better without a 3rd party. But how can I see, if a member is reputable, when there are only b-ratings for example exchange and no purchases? It really shouldn’t be a attack against v3ndor members here. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - Forum Browser - Aug 4, 2020 Use your best judgment when dealing here. You already know the answer to this question. Middlemen are a thing for a reason, anyone who doesnt want to use one are probably sketchy. Do your research and be careful. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - sonex - Aug 4, 2020 Took me 20 seconds to find why you're being denied MM. You're looking for someone to hack a cellphone and you're getting contacted by no-name randoms who joined yesterday. Stop bashing on entire community for denying MMs when clearly you're dealing with scammers. You never contacted any "Sellers", you were contacted by randoms. I didn’t know that all are randoms or scammers. 😔 It wasn’t clear for me. I don’t want to bash anyone. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - HᴇʀᴍᴇS - Aug 4, 2020 I never use a MM. If it's needed, or a deal over lets say $1-5k+ I'll use one if they ask. But I know I'm legit, and if someone doesn't trust me, I don't want to do a deal with them anyways. And on top of that - MM's take fees and you have to do a bunch of BS when dealing with 3 people. Only when I take pics is when I am the middleman. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - sumguy14 - Aug 4, 2020 I’ve used a middle man once but I try to stay away from people who are sketchy enough where I would consider it. If you’re getting contacted by new members for anything related to hacking or ratting or crypting I will tell you now that 99.9% of the time you are going to get scammed. Even the actual reputable members on here who CAN code have massive delays in the work they’re contracted to do (if they even finish, looking at you KING) People offering private hacks or crypts or whatever usually just sell you public code or code that doesn’t work. Be very careful and lmk if you ever want a second opinion on a member :) RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - vyactor - Aug 4, 2020 I guess contracts currently is another safe way to deal here in HF. Although, I'd say that middlemen are still necessary since I've seen people who just creates an account, scams someone and no more cares. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - Verdande - Aug 4, 2020 There could be a lot of different reasons, main one being that most people don't trust each other, let alone a potential bias third-party. I think a lot of people are less informed about the connection between a lot of MM's and sellers. I am not saying that a potential business-relationship between two people (seller/buyer) with a MM is being exploited, but it is not completely out of the realm of possibilities as we use MM's due to lack of trust in the other part to begin with. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - Tyr - Aug 4, 2020 There's far too many factors that come into play. It depends on the reputation of the buyer/seller and circumstances of the transaction. The key is finding the right middleman you trust and building reputation with them over time. Is there even any point in building your profile up just to MM at 10%? You would obviously only want to do large transactions if lower than 10 and the sad truth is a lot of members with a fair amount of b rating will go on a scamming spree and just toss that account away because it was a multi. Not only this, but the system in place to dispute contracts is already well maintained, although people are going to find loopholes in anything in life. The amount of multi's is regulated and staff do the best they can, but there's only so much they can do. This is HF after all. The evidence of this presents itself in many of the groups and private monetization methods being sold. I am not here to bash anyone nor any group or anyone who sells here, but there's many ponzi schemes here on HF involving the group system. I think lately it feels as though there's been a crackdown or perhaps that's just because groups are becoming even more widespread due to their pricing and investment opportunities. After all, your entire makeup on any forum or board type platform that isn't anonymous is solely reflected upon 75% your profile appeal and reputation versus 25% of the quality of one's post. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - phunted - Aug 4, 2020 Not wanting to use a Middleman? Bad intentions. RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - ★★★Berlin★★★ - Aug 4, 2020 Don't deal if they refuse MM it's better RE: Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM? - Lost99 - Aug 5, 2020 (Aug 4, 2020 05:11 PM)sumguy14 Wrote: People offering private hacks or crypts or whatever usually just sell you public code or code that doesn’t work. Sometimes I feel here like swimming in a shark 🦈 tank. At the moment I’m happy to haven’t made a deal. And no, bashing is not my intention. I’m a happy and peaceful human. Life and let life 😉 |
