Me and my girl have 4 cats, one is a kitten (like a year old) and is huge and makes the world chaos for the rest of the cat. Definitely would not advise going above 4, imho. shit is brutal and its expensive!

I guess it really depends. but generally, I'd say 3-4. but this is a subjective question.
