I'm definitely for cats rather than dogs. It's just the way I was raised. Cats are far more self confident and they flaunt it because, as any cat owner will confirm, because they know they're the king/queen and they let you to be in their kingdom.

Cats are definitely way less maintenance & can be just as loving as a dog.
Dogs are basically mini babies.
Walking with them, playing with them, picking up their shit, etc.

Really depends on the breeds for me, but in the end I would probably say that I'm a dog person. I have a huge thing for Dachshunds. They are my absolute favorite little critters.
