From 04:10 PM to 05:09 PM the price rose from ~$374.00 for 1 mill OMC to ~$830.00.
The price went up over two times in one hour. Looks like your plan is working.

Tough choice, it could either be really helpful for the Omnicoin project, or change nothing at all. Personally, I would try it, but perhaps at an even larger quantity. As the post above me says

I like the idea but would up it little tbh if it was me, 900 for a group is pretty cheap. I gave up on my OMC when I lost it all a while ago, I got a little disheartened.

One hour ago the price was ~$430, imagine how much it'll go up if he actually makes this official.
Though if Omni doesn't keep doing stuff with OMC it'll drop again.

Well nothing is done to increase the OMC Rates/Prices so why not do this? just invest a space for around 3 groups to be purchased from OMC and that will surely raise the prices.
And people will start using OMC for products in the marketplace.

I think there is a 6 million cap, so 5 million wouldn't be possible, or it would be very hard to get.

Exactly why at least 2 OMC features need to be ready to implement at the same time.
At the very least this is a good plan going forward imho. Something I've sort of struggled with.

It would be just one group and likely to highest bidder with proof of OMC via wallet address.
In order to really make this happen correctly I'll need to layout some time frames for implementation.

I think it would be best if you finish two features then do the auction. Once the auction is done the price will be sky high, and a little later release one features, then wait a bit then release another.
