It's legit and totally legal, OP even helped out through skype.
One thing you need is a valid credit card with 1$ (they try to charge if it is a real card but the amount is never leaving your credit card, just a authorization method).
All you need is do these once, and then don't think anything back 12 months and use it however you want.
