Well for a tradition we get together with all of the family, even though several people can't stand each other.
Alcohol mostly does the job and although the beginning is really akward, it's the happiest time I ever see these people spending together.

My favorite holiday tradition is setting up the tree & decorating it. Especially eating half of the candy canes while trying to put them up on the tree. The best part is lighting the tree, all those lights just shining bright, it's amazing.
