I make alternative hip hop and I'm always looking for networking opportunities offline and online. Not active on HF nowadays aside from lurking in certain sections but if y'all have a subforum that offers value there's no reason for me not to add to that. I love producing music. I went to school for audio engineering, but dropped out. I took my first crack at a hmmmm, EDM-esque song, earlier today. I'm more used to producing beats/LoFi/recording bands.

I would like to join sui generis‘ music division simply because I love music. I like writing it as well as producing it. I’m willing to give any genre a try and I’m ready to discuss various topics regarding music. I’m not a professional but I am proficient in various instruments, one being guitar (pointing that one in particular because it’s my favourite.) I like to use mix craft 8 or FL studio 11 to make beats or music, although I’m not the best as using them I can get by.
I only have two songs uploaded (hdd failed and I lost a lot of work recently) but here’s my SoundCloud:

I've been playing guitar since May 2015 and it's one of the most enjoyable hobbies of mine.
I got into guitar because I was trying to find myself musically. I wanted to do something productive. I had friends that produced music and made beats. So I had a sense of direction in what I wanted to do.
So I watched YouTube videos and slowly started learning to play. I found other artist that I connected with and it helped me find myself/build personality with my music "style" with artist such as "Corbin, Sosi, Lil Peep and more.
I actually ended up sending a few guitar riffs to my friends and they were sampled. One of the beats were used by Sosi. An artist I had listened to before. The song was mixed/mastered by a producer who also worked with Lil Peep in his early days. (song called toxic city) He is part of the group Team Sesh and produces songs for Bones. I don't know him personally. Just thought it was a cool note to add.

I've been making music for a couple of years now. It'd be cool to be a part of a community dedicated to making music.
I mostly focus on tropical house kind of style. I've been experimenting with other stuff tho - like this lo-fi thing, this EDM thing or this Peep beat style thing ( I've never released any of these but I really like the lo-fi one, might release it one day )
