Now that Hack Forums has the option to create āCrewā with Bytes.
Not sure how this will effect user group sells/prices.
My gut feeling is that now is the time to sell.

Think that is the intention here. Using bytes for crews drives up activity from posting, etc. Instead of just basing it around users throwing around money between the same 10 people who own groups, anyone can own a Crew now provided they have the bytes. This is essentially going to kill the group scene.

The only way to really get enough bytes for a crew is to buy them though.
No ones getting that lucky with these rigged gambling games.

You'd be surprised. That and Omni has done various boosts with bytes for posting, etc. that people could of saved up enough by now.

I got to almost 600 bytes the other day and lost it all in 10 minutes.
You get like 1 byte I believe per post, so I don't see how you'd save up that quick unless you make 100+ posts a day.

Looks like you do get 3 bytes per post.
Hopefully, even then, if it was 3 bytes per post you'd need over 33,000 posts to get the top crew. Ā I suppose we'll see what kind of system they come up with.
