40G, I purchased a car with cash to take 10G off the price.
Pay with cash, save more usually.
Same with some electronics retailers.

I believe it would be about £250 as I needed to pay in cash for a hotel as they didnt take card, and I believe i never even went to that hotel so I was carrying that cash around with me for a good night out.

I rarely use a debit card anymore. In my area, skimmers are at an all time high. I generally have $300 - $500 on me any day of the week. Most I've carried was ~$9k.

I've never carried more than 600 at a time unless I was paying for a car.

I don't know, the most recent large amount of cash I carried with me was $640 in $20's. $550 for monthly rent and the remaining $90 for personal things that I just didn't get around to getting anyways.

Made me feel like a future victim of a botched robbery and a patient in the ER awaiting his knuckles to be stitched.
