An interesting feature might be to access the My Pictures folder where a lot of Windows users save their own photos in and to upload all the files in that directory to the FTP server...This might be useful, what do you guys think?

Definitely monitor the clipboard and active window. If you know API functions (which you should, since you need to to log keys), its dumb easy to do
I have experience programming a keylogger in .NET and sending it to victims, reading logs, and trust me, keystrokes are incoherent and meaningless if you don't know where theyre being typed
Also, reading a ton of special characters gets annoying. But they could be helpful, and it can't hurt to include them. you should have a key for special characters, like [B] = backspace, [C] = control, etc, make it short
Definitely get firefox entries, if you can. And also clear temporary internet files and stuff so the victim has to retype passwords. I wish I did this for my logger, but remember to only do it on the first run, maybe after it installs
one last note, if you're programming it in C#, and it does a few fancy things, it will use a lot of memory. I'm trying to learn c++ so I can make a more efficient keylogger

Okay I just finished coding the firefox stealer which will steal form history files and stored password files to be decrypted later by the hacker. I will be editing Firefox's settings to auto-enable save passwords, so every time they enter a password it will save it for them and they won't even know lol, then the program will access the stored password files and send them to a FTP server.
Another thing is when the program is shut off it will automatically restart itself, assuming somehow it is closed or crashes.
-AIM password thief will definitely be added, MSN one might also be included, Yahoo is impossible because it is encrypted in a hash.
@Mcem: Yes it is resource intensive but I am making sure I dispose of any unused elements or streams to free up the memory as soon as possible. The thing is most of the time it will only be logging keys, but at various intervals it will do other things that way most of the time the user will not notice much if any difference. I can monitor the clipboard and active window but a lot of current keyloggers already do this so I will add it much later, right now I'm trying to make mine interesting by stealing Firefox information, pictures from the user, and am even considering scanning their hard drive for vital information then send it over followed by reformatting their hard drive so most users won't know what happened and assume their computer just crashed...yes I am evil.

Yahoo is impossible because it is encrypted in a hash.

It can still log keys, so if the user goes to a yahoo website and logs in then you will still get their key, but I can't directly steal it from Yahoo Messenger like with AIM or MSN. Requires less waiting because the passwords are already stored.
