whenever i open open the bot or server.exe for testing..it never infects myself, i've been using metus, Darth (i like this one) and biozombie, i've also used xr booter but i dont think i wanna use that one..it dosent work either though..any suggestions?
^^ i've also port fowarded made a no-ip and everything. im using the port 3174.

i had the same problem i had to set up a static ip to port forward because the automatic ip was changing so the bots where going to the worng ip.

when you use a DDoS tool, do you have to have botnets? Or can you just use yourself when ddosing 1 person?(sry i am a total noob)

You can use your own bandwidth, but you have the risk of overloading your internet and shutting yourself down. This is done a program known as a "DOS"
The term "DDOS" is a botnet in which MANY COMPUTERS are infected thus, known as a "Distributed denial of service" which allows a lot more of a chance to kill a specific IP's internet.

Depends what you want.
If you just want to DDoS A home connection but XR. (www.hostbooter.com)
If you want a booter with password stealing options and a few more features like a RAT buy DDoSeR (www.ddoser.info)
If not those, buy a VPS and install an IRC on it and go from there to create an IRC botnet.
