* - ZuGgY - May 19, 2014 Interesting. Thanks for the information, Omniscient. * - ~Tom~ - May 19, 2014 I think it ultimately comes down to people not being careful who they are dealing with. * - BоwseR - May 19, 2014 This will cut down on a lot of scams going on for sure. * - Sky - May 19, 2014 I feel kind of bad for some of the more HQ & known exchangers who are L33T, but I understand exactly why this is being done at the same time. ~Arcane 🤝 * - .Matt - May 19, 2014 (May 19, 2014 03:46 PM)~Tom~ Wrote: I think it ultimately comes down to people not being careful who they are dealing with. This is retarded. Nobody can see the future. Someone could do a million good deals and just scam you. * - Winners - May 19, 2014 I can understand why this is being implemented, yet at the same time I haven't seen one l33t happy with this. Kind of funny, if you ask me. I'm happy with it, because I have friends I trust who would cash me out in other currencies. Posting on the exchange thread kind of shows that you're desperate for an exchange anyway being the fact that you're pretty much asking "site-wide" for someone to come along with currency and a decent rate to fit your needs. * - Hidden™ - May 19, 2014 Just curious, what makes the Ub3r members less likely to scam? Sure some value their accounts but it will happen regardless. PO: Decent implementation but steep. * - іnxy - May 19, 2014 I agree with this, dangerous section aye. * - potatopete54 - May 19, 2014 Is it possible to use an old thread within this board, edit it, it.. as I'm l33t and I can't use the 'New Thread' button? * - SIM-1676753 - May 19, 2014 Nice policy. What about epic members? * - Cyrus - May 19, 2014 Good choice Omniscient, thanks for keeping this forum safe as can be. * - Vodge - May 19, 2014 Meh, I've only posted here a couple of times and wasn't successful anyway due to most people wanting ridiculous profit margins. Sucks that it's another thing I can't do on this forum though even if I wanted to. * - Soccer - May 19, 2014 (May 19, 2014 05:20 PM)DarkTrace Wrote: Just curious, what makes the Ub3r members less likely to scam? I random can just come on HF, sign up and start posting and scamming. They can get that scammed money to buy themselves L33T real quick. But if they got a scam report on them. 10/10 Omni won't accept them for Ub3r. This rule stops Scammers AND Multi-Accounters in a way because they just here for money, and this is where it comes from... * - Darkwin - May 19, 2014 I'm very happy with this decision, Not saying regulars/l33ts aren't trustworthy but the majority of scammers are non-upgraded and that has been proven in the deal disputes section. Am looking forward to seeing the change!! (May 19, 2014 05:20 PM)DarkTrace Wrote: Just curious, what makes the Ub3r members less likely to scam? Read Omni's post: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4237906&pid=40180353#pid40180353 It clearly states why he's made that decision, I for once agree with it not even because i'm ub3r but because i've seen that pattern myself way too much. * - Ryan Cleary - May 19, 2014 I disapprove of this decision, not that it matters XD. It is unfair to those who are denied ub3r for whatever reason, I obviously run a completely legitimate currency exchange, have over $5000 worth of BTC sold, and tons of vouches, but I still get denied for ub3r, not sure why, regardless, I don't really like all this l33t stuff going away :( But, your the head judge. |
