lol orgys sig =] and yes cracking needs to stop

* - Taserz - Jul 29, 2010

but this is still fail method since it can easily be changed

And also, it doesn't stop them from executing it, it will still run the binded program. There is no way to stop the binded program from running.

This is what PixelRat does to avoid cracking.

All they'd have to do is bind it and then null our your error message.

Thats a good idea but:
How would you grab the premade MD5 checksum? As soon as you enter the current checksum it will change.

Third time I'll answer this:

Store it on a .txt file on a server, and have it read from there

You do something like

string programHash;
programHash = (contents of http://website.com/md5.txt)

Then you dont have to recompile it. It's dynamic

Oh ok haha. Good idea. But then people might try to crack it..

* - johno2932 - Jul 30, 2010

this is not even a new idea lol

never heard of crc-32 checksum checker?

most installers have this option :)

still can be cracked easy... no use
