* - Percy_Argyros - Jun 21, 2011 WTF is with people on this site? Why do you fill up a forum with pointless and immature responses? @NuLL_TrOJaN Use your brain dumbass. If someone really wanted to trace ANY botnet, with the right resources, he/she could easily do it. In my case, these people have the right resources. It just depends on if my connections were logged and saved for a lengthy period of time. * - NuLL_TrOJaN - Jun 21, 2011 (Jun 21, 2011 03:27 PM)Percy_Argyros Wrote: WTF is with people on this site? Why do you fill up a forum with pointless and immature threads, that are also bullshit? * - Percy_Argyros - Jun 21, 2011 @NuLL_TrOJaN I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you so fuck off. Lastly, considering I was utilizing port 80, does this imply that the logs of my connection would only be retained for a matter of days (seeing as the UK only retains web traffic for 4 days and has one of the most invasive governments)? * - Infinitus - Jun 21, 2011 I find it funny, that the people with -30+ reputation are the only ones making a scene and trolling on this thread. Honestly if you want my advice, just relax and erase as much evidence as possible, anyway the FBI is to concerned with corrupting America, and finding out what the Chinese are up to than to worry about some money gone missing. * - CheesyBread - Jun 21, 2011 Dude, you really should not be hosting a botnet on your own computer. I mean, at least use a overseas VPN or something. I use the HMA Pro VPN and use one of their overseas servers. * - epiks - Jun 21, 2011 I SERIOUSLY doubt the FBI will get involved..and if you're that worried about it youre a dumbass for using your own IP and an even BIGGER dumbass for fucking incriminated yourself by admitting to bank/wire theft. Good job bro! Wait till you got some hair on your balls before starting another net by then you may (or may not) have some common sense! If it is real then you will need to: Uninstall all bots Dban your harddrive Magnetize your hardrive Full Format HDD Install Windows again and whatever else you want So now that leaves the internet tracing. Wiping the evidence is not exactly easy, but the easiest route is if you have a good friend who works with your ISP who would be willing to wipe any sort of stuff relating to a botnet from your logs. Deleting the whole logs would be suspicious. If you dont have a friend working for your ISP (most likely route) then you will want to move overseas if you have any sign of the FBI catching on to you. You will be allowed to leave the country if the FBI have only begun looking in to you (EX: asking for access to your PC hdd), but you gotta move quickly then. * - rekt_ - Jun 21, 2011 I call that he is trolling and you fed him for 9 pages. * - nuk - Jun 21, 2011 As someone that has 4 F3 & 2 F1 felony's in this matter, I can tell you that this whole post is bullshit, i mean not the answers, but the actual post. The whole reason I got caught (and mind you this was almost 7 years ago) was because when stealing a "HUGE" amount, the bank does a phone verification with the user... it's a default security measure that all banks use. I did 2 years in jail for Theft by deception, Unlawful taking, & Recieving Stolen Property.... This sounds like another kid trying to sound o0o0o0b3r l33t LoL.... what's the next post gonna be about? hacking a "GIBSON" ROFL.... sorry couldn't resist that one. * - Percy_Argyros - Jun 22, 2011 @TF2274 I did as you instructed. Thank you for the help. @nuk Depends on what type of wire transfer you did. If you did above 20,000 (or even 10,000 for some) then yeah they are going to ask for verification. But, as long as you make seperate transfers to seperate accounts that are below the 20,000 tops mark there shouldn't be a problem. Especially if you use backconnect to make the transfer appear to come from the compromised computer AND change the user's account information as a precaution in case they do contact you. I'm not going to say anymore regarding how I did the transfer but know that it is possible if you are careful about it. |
