I do

Then I click survival control on the gui

then I do .cc start

but my character just walks and mines but no blocks break.

Are you using this on a multiplayer server or on singleplayer?
In case you're playing on a SMP server, NoCheat+ might be blocking you.

You used Barclay's Proximity crack. Remove the ownagedev.com entry in your hosts file.

It works fine in NC+ if I remember correctly. I'll take a look at it.

Do you have "NoCheat" mode enabled? You can look for it in the GUI.

I enabled nocheat and it still is not working.
