* - Abraham Lincoln - Jun 4, 2015 Pool stats became "stuck" earlier this morning. I've refreshed them and the pool is running smoothly once again. No hashrate or OMC was lost. It was just a frontend glitch. * - opcodesu - Jun 4, 2015 where can found more information about this coin? i never heard about it before * - severos - Jun 4, 2015 You can find pretty much lots of stuff in those 2 links https://github.com/Omnicoin-Project https://github.com/Omnicoin-Project/Omnicoin/wiki Is there a way to be allowed to generate more than 1 address/minute from the API calls? I'm trying to build a website that'll need an OMC address for each user, so is there a possible way to do this? or I'll have to queue them on server and generate one by one? * - Doctor Blue - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 4, 2015 09:30 PM)severos Wrote: Is there a way to be allowed to generate more than 1 address/minute from the API calls? If it's just for recognizing payments then you should be using a more suitable solution like Coinpayments' IPN service. You can also handle everything yourself with omnicoind. * - Fʀᴀɴᴋɪᴇ - Jun 5, 2015 Just getting everything finished and set up to start mining again * - severos - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 05:20 PM)Doctor Blue Wrote: If it's just for recognizing payments then you should be using a more suitable solution like Coinpayments' IPN service. If I have to relay on omnicoind then I'll need to get a server that allows running it to use my scripts, I'm not sure about Coinpayments' IPN as I've just taken a fast look at it and it really seemed complicated, all I really need is something like blockchain http notifications :/ * - Projec7 - Jun 6, 2015 Made a wallet. Like it a lot. * - Abraham Lincoln - Jun 21, 2015 The crons got stuck early this morning and I just finally got time to fix them. Everything is running like normal again. No hashrate was lost. It was just a frontend error. Apologies for the inconvenience. * - Abraham Lincoln - Jul 9, 2015 Looks like OVH is having an outage. My servers are down, and even pool.omnicoin.cc is down. EDIT: We're back up. * - Abraham Lincoln - Jul 20, 2015 The site is now fully running through Cloudflare. Unfortunately this means that the old pool DNS record won't work anymore. The new address to point miners to is pool.omnicha.in:3333 Hopefully this won't cause more issues than it will fix. * - SIM-2015410 - Jul 21, 2015 The thread title still says Casino so you should probably add a casino to your site again soon :P * - Abraham Lincoln - Sep 27, 2015 Ever since I moved to Cloudflare DNS I've been having a lot of issues with the URL structure on the site. This caused connections over SSL to be dropped and broke the CSRF check on the pool most of the time. I just sat down and fixed it all. All urls are now forced to non-www and forced to use SSL (except for the API). The CSRF check is also fixed on the pool. If anyone has issues, let me know. Hopefully I didn't break anything. * - Abraham Lincoln - Nov 19, 2015 Well, I got a free month of hosting due to OVH's SLA. The server / official node will expire on January 05, 2016. * - Abraham Lincoln - Nov 24, 2015 As of 11/18/2015, official support for Omnicoin has ended. OmniChain will be shutting down on January 5th, 2016. Please withdraw your coins from the online wallet and pool. They will not be recoverable after the 5th. * - Abraham Lincoln - Dec 14, 2015 I've come to an agreement with Maginmann to keep Omnichain running. He will continue to pay the bills to keep the site alive. He may at some point take over full control as well. So the January 5th date is no longer applicable. The site will last at least that long, but it's up to him to keep it running past that date. |
