Quote:Also, @Omni, do you plan to link the users deal disputes, or just continue linking to the main disputedb page when clicking "Deal Disputes (Claimant/Defendant):"

The form for Dispute DB runs differently. I have no plans to add the link you're referring to.

As do I under near same situation, I think around 30 or something. Friends house, dynamic IPs, all that. Luckily though it also shows 2FA, last email/pass change, etc. so that still gives a better look at it all.

I have a lot, I think 40+ because I accessed HF the whole drive up to Tennessee and to where I am now.

I'm sure this shorthand value for "trust" would be fairly forgiving to unique IP's considering that doesn't play much of a role in how safe it is to deal with that member, especially in this new age of internet enabled devices. I'd assume major factors would be scam reports, multiple accounts, multiple regions, email changes, ect. A rep ratio would also be a cool value to throw into the equation, and account age.

That's irrelevant.

I'm not saying it would have to play a direct role. Age could be used to reduce volatility of your value. Or not, just thinking out loud. :P In order to make an equation that's hard to guess you really have to throw in a lot of factors. Even if they are fairly minute.

Keep up the good work Omni! :) Nice to see features being added.

I always use the trust scan when checking for multi-accounters. I wish that you could list the accounts that match a persons I.P. I guess it'll always be a staff/admin feature 🙂.

Kinda like a hash or checksum number?

Not going to lie, nor complain but I am not happy with the last password change feature, I'd prefer if you could disable stuff in your trust scan or something having a last password change feature kind of makes me feel insecure about the fact someone could technically comprimise my account knowing the information that I've never changed my password. Then again, your decision omni, not mine.

Why not just change your password to something more secure? Password change is pretty important when figuring out if somebody is hacked.

Please explain how knowing when you last changed your password compromises your account. I'd like for you to explain that.

If there was some leaked DB with passwords and his alias (which is highly unlikely) there's a slight chance passwords match, but then again you'd have to be retarded to say the least to use the same passwords on 2 forum sites, no matter if it relates to HF or not. It's like asking to be compromised by using the same alias and even letting people know that you use other forums too. That's like the only possible outcome imo.

Actually I'd be more cautious dealing with someone who never changed password than someone who changed it today, probably because if you're here for 2-3 years and you never changed password in 90% cases you dont really give a fuck about your security, the other 10% is probably because you have some high-tech password.

Then the leaked DB was the cause of the compromise not this data.

Probably when I last changed my HF password. I don't change my password just to change my password. Even my most highly required secured site I don't constantly change my PW.

A recent password change is definitely one of the things done on sold or stolen accounts.

Would be nice if users were required to activate 2FA to post threads in the market place, or at least certain sections of the MKT place.

I see currency exchangers that exchange thousands on a weekly basis with 2FA disabled on their account....

Would help cut down on a lot of "I was hacked" bs.
